Wealth and Happiness: Feel Happy Now
Your main goal in attempting to attract wealth is to experience the feeling of having
plenty of money - which most people would classify as "happiness" (at least it's one form of happiness). That
is not a bad goal to have; most of us would deeply enjoy the feelings of joy, empowerment, freedom and inner peace
that wealth can provide - and most of us resent the feelings of struggle, scarcity, fear and powerlessness created
by not having enough money.
However, you may be under the impression that your wealth must arrive first before you can
feel happy - or secure, free, or peaceful. Obviously, this is an illusion because those feelings are not
dependent upon a specific set of circumstances.
Regardless of what your current situation may be, you can still choose to feel happy
now.
Here are three good ways to start:
- Thoughts of Wealth and Happiness
Have you ever noticed that your thoughts usually correspond with your current
experiences? That's not too surprising because as you experience something, you focus on it and think about
it. However, you also have the power to choose your thoughts deliberately - and as you choose different
thoughts, your circumstances will change.
There is nothing stopping you from thinking thoughts related to wealth and happiness right
NOW, before your wealth arrives. In fact, thinking thoughts of wealth and happiness is a sure way to begin
drawing wealth toward you.
Start by asking yourself, "If I was truly wealthy, what would I focus on to make myself
feel happy?" Then spend time focusing on those things now. Perhaps you would plan lavish vacations
around the world. Perhaps you would shop for a brand-new car by comparing prices and features online.
You can do these very things now, while holding a firm belief that someday you will be able to follow through with
physical action to buy these things.
- Feelings of Wealth and Happiness
Many people, when attempting to attract wealth, spend a little time thinking about wealth
but then revert right back to feeling frustrated about not having enough money, feeling pressured by excessive
bills, and other negative emotions relating to money.
Turn this around by deliberately moving yourself into a state of positive emotion relating
to wealth.
As you think about wealth, imagine that you can feel wealth surrounding you right
now.
How would you feel if you had a large pile of cash on a table in front of you? How
would you feel if all of your bills were paid and you still had plenty of money left over? Feel those things
now, even if it's only for a few minutes at a time.
- Activities Related to Wealth and Happiness
Lastly, behaving in a way that does not contradict your positive intentions is another
excellent way to begin manifesting wealth. Rather than holding back on the many things you would like to do
when you have money, you can begin doing some of them now. Obviously you won't do the ones that require large
sums of money yet - but there are plenty of activities that you wouldn't hesitate to do if your financial
circumstances were different, right? For example, would you hesitate to take a day off from work for some
much needed rest? Would you forego hobbies in favor of working all the time? Would you drive all over
the city to avoid paying a couple of dollars more for something you needed to buy?
Start by making small changes in your behavior that reinforce your growing belief that you
always have more than enough money. As your belief grows, you should notice your financial circumstances
changing and allowing the opportunity for even bigger changes later.
